PATONA Protect 99-PD100 Battery Overview
Engineered for extreme, continuous use, the PATONA Protect V99-PD100 is a rugged 99Wh V-mount battery built around premium lithium-ion cells and housed in a V1 fire-retardant, heat-resistant shell capable of withstanding temperatures up to 140°F without deforming. Its 14.5V, 99Wh capacity supports high-draw cinema cameras, location monitors, LED fixtures, and accessories, while the integrated OLED display provides a real-time view of remaining power, output status, and charging data. Corner shock absorbers protect the pack from drops and impact, and a full BMS system ensures safety under demanding production conditions by regulating temperature and preventing overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuits.
Designed for versatility, the V99-PD100 incorporates one USB-C PD100W and one D-Tap I/O, as well as one USB-A and two DC barrel outputs, enabling the simultaneous powering of multiple devices. Automatic device and voltage detection optimizes output, while rapid charging via USB-C PD100W restores the battery to full capacity in 2.5 to 3.5 hours. With a wide operating range from 14 to 140°F, low self-discharge, and dependable LG cells, the V99-PD100 delivers durability, efficiency, and reliability in professional production environments.
